Riverhead Infants' School is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students, staff and visitors.

Our designated safeguarding lead is Mr Andrew King - Head Teacher.  Our deputy designated safeguarding leads are  Miss Grimwood - Assistant Head Teacher and EYFS Lead, Mrs Puttock -  Nurture, Mrs Clarke - SENCO, Mrs Osman - Year One Lead, Mrs Wolfe - Office Manager and Mrs Manning - Breakfast and After School Club Lead.

Parent Volunteers

Parent volunteers are required to have a full DBS check.  Please contact the school office for more information, office@riverhead.kent.sch.uk.

Before volunteering all  helpers will attend safeguarding training with one of the designated safeguarding leads.

Outside Organisations

We work with outside organisations and agencies to enhance our safeguarding procedures, such as Kent Police Operation Encompass and the NSPCC.
