PTA CHRISTMAS EVENTS
Thank you to Mrs Dungan and her helpers for bringing more festive cheer to Riverhead. On Monday the children were delighted to find the library had been transformed into a Christmas room with festive decorations and enjoyed choosing presents for their parents. Some of the children have also been visiting the room to listen to Christmas stories.
We had a very special visitor on Thursday. Father Christmas brought every child a gift and an orange, then joined them for their Christmas parties and tea in the hall which was also organised by Mrs. Dungan and her party of elves.
Congratulations to the winners of the Christmas colouring competition, Oliver B in Fox, Finn in Honey Bee, Alice in Owls and to Peter in Woodpecker who won the Christmas quiz competition. They all received a gift voucher.
PTA MICHAELMAS MARKET
Thank you to Ms Ives, Mrs Dungan and their wonderful team for organising another fantastic Michaelmas Market. The hall was busy with games such as lucky dip and “name the teddy”. Parents guessed the weight of a delicious Christmas cake. Children tried to work out how many sweets were in the jar. There were refreshments for everyone with homemade cakes, and once again, the hamper raffle was a huge success. Congratulations to all our winners and well done to everyone as we raised over £3,000 for the school.

The total raised was over £400.
