Admissions
Admissions
We are a three-form Infant School ranging from Reception to Year Two. We filter through to our Junior School, Amherst, which is just across the road.
Kent Local Authority co-ordinates the admissions of all primary schools in the County which means you will need to apply directly through their website: Primary school places - Kent County Council naming up to three schools
Our Published Admissions number (PAN) is 90 per year group. Our places are allocated based on the following criteria:
- LAC – Looked after children or previously LAC
- Current family association - sibling
- Health and special access reasons (to be determined by the school)
- Distance of child’s home from the school
If your child is due to start school in September 2025 applications closed on Wednesday 15th January 2025. If you have not applied and are a Kent resident please contact kentonlineadmissions@kent.gov.uk with your child’s name, date of birth and full address and they will advise you on the next steps.
In the April prior to your child starting school you will be informed by the Local Authority which school your child has been allocated. You can appeal against the decision and the allocation letter will outline how to go about making an appeal. Please see below a link to the KCC Admissions Appeals Guide for Parents
Appeal a school offer - Kent County Council
